I chose this book because it seemed very interesting. Also because it relates to high school , and how it is, So i can compare it to me in ways. This book is about a guy who is very popular, and cool. He is soccer team captain and has a very hot girlfriend. I think through out the book his whole life might change. He is probably going to loose popularity and meet people who have almost nothing. And out of no where things start to change.
I am popular, athletic and cool I wonder what the people think I hear people talking I see all the influences around me I want to be the best of the best I am popular, athletic, and cool
I pretend to be perfect I feel the pressure inside my chest I touch different peoples hearts I worry about the change I cry for who have nothing I am Popular, athletic, and cool
I understand everything now I say it is time for a change I dream to change the way I am I try to see what others need I hope people will see me more as a friend I am popular , athletic, and cool

Christopher Reeve is trying to say that anyone can be a hero. You just have to over come every obstacle that comes your way. I strongly agree with him because it is true that you have to over come everything in order to become a hero. Just like once everyone was sad in my family and i had to over come the obstacle. I made them laugh and i was the hero of the night.
